Chen Gar kung Fu

Anyone ever hear of this style? Supposed it came from the Chen village. I found a kwoon in my are that teaches it and it seems like good complete system. Write back with info cause i can't find anything online.

I believe that Chen Gar is a cross between Tai-Chi and SPM. I think I read something about it a few years ago.

Anyway, try punching "chen gar" into your search engine. I had a ton of stuff pop up.

yeah I tried the search engine way and all I could come up with was Chen Tai Chi... The style in question apparently is a cross of Pak Mei and Chen Taichi as well as Hung Gar. I talked to the sigung (a James A. Whitney Jr.) and that is what he explained to me. From what I could see it was a distinctly southern style that used the rigidness of hungar with the explosive power of Pak Mei. Very interesting system.
