Sounds like it was a fluke. I'll ask him about it when I see him in a few weeks. he invited two of our guys to that fight - I wonder if they walked out with him. And I asked about his seminars as far as rolling with him goes. They said he's real nice and is always more than happy to roll with the students.

Well the guy who he faced even said he doesnt think Royce tapped out, and offered a rematch. Maybe the referee hates BJJ?

Royce was dominated by Yoshida, but the referee botched the stoppage when he thought Royce was tapping out.

From the pictures I saw, it looked like Yoshida dominated the positioning and the fight. Too bad about the stoppage. It would have been interesting to see if Royce could have turned it around or if Yoshida could have put him away. Royce definately has tons of heart.

From the mount, Yoshida would have most probably put Royce to sleep if that choke was allowed by the referee to reach its natural conclusion. But you never know with Royce, he always fights from the bottom against bigger guys.

Can't wait for the inevitable rematch.

Or maybe it would be better if it was Royce Gracie VS Tard Referee.

Plain and simple Gracies dont TAP!! Uncle Royce was screwed over in that one. Gracies are tuffer than tupperware and fear noone were badas5!!....
