I like to use this forum to report that most of the Yees had reported in and safe at home at this moment. We are still waiting for some that had not, if any of the Yee's had not reported in, please do so to your respective seniors or sifus.
Also I like to urge all the Yee's members to participate and volunteer in the rescue effords, it is time for us to do the right thing.

stay safe

Yes, this is the only reaction we should be having as human beings- Prayers and sympathy for the loss of life, the broken families, the destruction and lastly and leastly- political posturing and thoughts of retaliation etc...

being a native new yorker nothing like this
has ever hit home,it was one of the lowest and
cheapest attacks on the Big apple! carried out by
cowards, this has truly devastated our city & the world,as fellow martial artist we should pray for
all those who lost there lives and those families
who have been affected directly or indirectly by
this great tragedy that has affected all.
peace

People,

Many condolances to all those who have been affeted in some way by the latest events. But it does seem that justice will be served through severe retribution of the evil. Nevertheless, the tragedy does high light that high-tech survelence and protection systems are not perfect, to an extent our personal safety is our responsibility.

Do you not agree and how have you responded in your training?

This is a poem i wrote for the victims of the terrorist attack on america on sept 11, 2001.

"My Tears Fall"
by Frank Joseph Mccarthy
American Hung Sing Kwoon-SF

Day after day the tears continue to fill my eyes,
for so many of those who lost their lives.
I can't help but feel helpless,
my heart cries and cries.

Our freedom had been challenged,
and you paid the price,
as the whole entire world witnessed your sacrifice.

Do you realize what you all have done?
you've united a divided america together as one.
Now everywhere we look our flag flies so proudly,
from Heaven could you hear us scream "U-S-A" so
loudly?

For each one of you,
everyone of us grieves.
Praying to wake from this nightmare,
and for the pain to relieve.

Regardless if wrong or right,
you will be avenged.
Without ever meeting any of us,
you've made so many friends.
From January to December,
and for my whole life thru,
I will never forget to tell my children of you.

Long after the dust settles,
and the clean-up is complete,
forever to be remembered with memories so sweet.
Watch over us from Heaven,
listen for when we call,
as i sit here and write this,
it is for you that.......
my tears fall.

The american hung sing branch would like to send out our condolences to all of the people in new york, and to any martial arts schools that may have lost some students. we are deeply sadened and enraged with the terrorists actions.

god help the terrorists, for if they were caught by any martial artists, they would experience what real pain is like!!!!!!!!!

our email for the hung sing kwoon is: sifufrank@hotmail.com

thank you for taking the time to read my poem.
