Nanyang Wing Chun was/is a name used by Y. Wu to avoid the sometimes difficult politics of Wing Chun and Martial Arts in general in Singapore (where such things are regulated by the state and there can be criminal penalties involved). There really is no such system of WCK as "Nanyang" since Nanyang just means "South East Asia" and there are a variety of systems to be found in that geographical region, including Cho Dak-On's and Yip Kin's, as well as Yip Man (primarily Randy Williams derived) and others.

Y. Wu has a diverse background, including Victor Leow's system (primarily Tsui Sheung Tin and Wong Shun-Leung based, if memory serves?) and the Cho system through Lao Suen and Ku Choi Wah.

Does Y. Wu use the pheonix eye fist and ginger fist? I'm fairly certain he knows them. Whether he uses them often or not I don't know.
