FT,

I don't know how accurate that article is. Its from Shaolin.com (http://www.shaolin.com). That site is replete with inaccuracies. I'm not saying the article is wrong. I know next to nothing about the style. I'm just saying take it with a rather large grain of salt.

Hi,

I did take it as a grain of salt untill i stated getting some old ykm manuscripts translated and talks about the same monks/ abbots as in the gung fu institues webpage. It doesnt say its the originator of dragon style of course well not yet:), but ive only got translated 1 page out of 50 or so. Kinda weird to get this type of info from a webpage and find ykm has the same monks and dates etc.

why do you think the dates are inaccurate? we can go off our teachers words and histroy of others, remember stories can be exaggerate a little.

well take care
FT:)

FT,

I have no idea if the dates are accurate or not. I just think the site is a little off. They classify Bagua, Eagle Claw and Dragon as tiger styles. I find that a little hard to comprehend.

Good luck with the research.
