To all who have voted, thank you. I was curious about the level of experience of people that use this forum. I hope those that haven't voted will. It's good to see a wide-range of experience.

I started martial arts 22 years ago with Judo, didn't take it seriously though, entered and got medals at a few competions as a kid, then did Karate for a year, took it a little more seriously, but not really seriously enough, then dabbled with Kick boxing, Western Boxing, taught myself some weapons forms then did no practise for about 8 years.( A good chance to empty my cup if you like!)

I have currently been following a path of TCMA for almost two years, have been taking it much more seriously, and have been fortunate to find a good Shaolin Master who teaches me now.

FWIW, I've only been training about 1 year. I'll cross over into the 1-2 year category shortly, but I'm not quote there yet, so I voted for 1 year or less. I don't talk much on the boards here, so I'm not sure anyone's really interested, but I thought I'd post my vote anyway.

24 years this month. Ouch. Only in Kung Fu do you get cooler as you get older!
