Hey, does anybody have any information about a "southern shaolin" art called Sui Lam Gee (sp?) ? After a conversation I had with Alan Lamb, i'm extremely interested in any information anyone has on this style. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Siu Lam Gee translates to shaolin temple.

Lam Siu Lum would be south shaolin.

Don't think it is really a particular style just a southern temple in which some arts had their roots.

Peace.

Sandman- when Alan lived in Hong Kong he did see someone practicinga long form- which had wing chun like movements. The person was ready to teach it to Alan but Alan was busy learning the wing chun bat jam do and kwan at the time. joy

Yuanfen,
Yeah, last time Sifu Lamb was in town, I wound up driving him all over the city and having dinner with him a couple of times. He told me some pretty interesting stories about that monk, actually, which is why I was looking for more info. You know anything about that art?

Hi Sandman- no I dont. I chatted with Alan along the same lines.
He also talked about a person- I dont know whether its the same one who specialized on long thrusts with a pole.
