Article in today's Wall Street Journal, section B. Check it out. Plans for "Black Belt TV" include showing Old Hong Kong martial arts movies, the "Kung Fu" tv series, and UFC style fights. The article also mentions a rival channel, "the Martial Arts Action Network" hoping to launch next spring....

word, 'bout time....I think it'll be mostly junk, but it's cool all in the same.

That would seriously be cool. Maybe some of the Sanda that we have been discussing, and good Tai boxing, which is at least 300% better than watching western boxing (at the mediocre level).

Plus, I need to catch up on all of the NHB stuff from the past two or three years.

The only problem would be all the Tae Bo infomercials.

Seriously though, I'd like to see it.

You know you still watch Blood Sport on TBS at least once a month.

The best way to watch Don "The Dragon" Wilson movies is on Cinemundo, 'cuz you can pretend you're practicing your spanish.

Doesn't make the choreography any better, tho.

I'm sure both these channels will be full of badly edited and badly dubbed movies with charlatan infomercials hawking questionable martial arts schools.

In another words, I'll be watching it 24/7!

They need a show that crosses the worlds of Martial Arts & Heavy Metal...like Wang's World.

I never ever watch it either. Ever.

Personally I would like to see Michael Dudikoff fight Jared from Subway. They should have celebrity UFC on that channel.

There is absolutely no reason to provide any encouragement for David Hasslehoff to return to television ever again. Of course with the exception of Knight Rider re-runs.
