who knows the pak mei left handed pole?

why was it designed for left handed people and is it the long pole?

why is it longer?

Aren't most longpole forms controlled by the left hand with right being used as the guide hand?

good question, also maybe to confuse the other opponent and also train the opposite hand?

or is it favoured only one side?

I think the idea was to give the fighter an unorthodox method of using the pole. It presents the user with different openings to when you are using the pole in the right-handed manner.

I guess it is also good to know how to use the pole on both sides. :)

I've never been too good at working out which handed you are in things requiring both hands...

What's a left-handed pole grip? My pole work has the left at the rear and right towards the middle. Which way is that? :confused:
