Just to satisfy my dull curiousity:

How many people read this forum? Do the discusions here influence your training direction at all?

Thanks,

JK

Your spread of possible answers could do with some expansion.

e.g.

Some - Those that sound interesting or valuable I'll think about and maybe take on board.

I don't read every post, only those that sound interesting or controversial. Generally this forum is more like going to the pub and talking tough with a bunch of acquaintances, some of whom might be friends, with a shared interest.

Sometimes interesting, but if I really want to learn a physical skill or expand my knowledge on a subject this ain't the place. There's an occasional gem of useful info, but generally it's just a way to pass the time.

Nothing wrong with that.

Survey research is not simple.
In this case- the questions can give a skewed view of reality.
One possible alternative question.
Helpful yes- but I read selectively! So- I didnt choose an answer.

I too agree with Yuanfen. I try to stay away from the political
ramblings and focus on the posts that can teach me something
other than who prefers which lineage. As for lurking, I don't have
much free time and spend that reading.

I read ALL the posts.

That's because there's always interesting information about styles and the people who practice them.

In addition, it clues me in on who's doing what out there.

That's why I'll see you tomorrow night, yuanfen!
