Master Halbuna was very close to the Tiger Claw family, KungfuMagazine's parent company here. He was on one of our earlier covers - http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=46 - and was invited to our recent 10 Year Benefit Gala but had to decline do to health reasons. TC Media did his video tape series and many of our senior employees where every close to him. He even celebrated his birthday at our old Snata Clara office once.
I only met him a few times, I think the last time he came by was a few months ago. Quite the gentleman, in an old school Hawaiian way. Very sad.
