Monkey gong-fu is one of the most outlandish kung-fu styles in China. Can you tell me what you think of this style. I would like feedback, any information would be use full.

The Emei style seems bonafide enough to me.

Pek Kwar and Tai Shing as two styles and as a blend are good styles.

The only "ridiculous" thing about it is the acrobatic interpretive styles as in PRC Wu Shu and other like styles that have almost zero martial applicability.

Check out the guy who does Tai Shing Pak Kwar named Chan Sau Chung.
Also there is the Chinese language manual on Emei Monkey style (not Tai Shing Pak Kwar). As far as I have learned, besides the styles of Tai shing and Pek Kwar, these are the only "legitimate" styles of monkey kung fu.

well its not my cup of tea, every time i see a monkey form performed i get embarressed! :eek: i dont know why i should, but i think it looks silly.
