Anyone watched this?

sorry, only UKers will have seen this.....

Its a show, where they take 10 of "the best" MA students from the UK and train them in close to shaolin traditional ways. And one person gets kicked out at the end of each week (i think) for being the weakest...

When I say 'the best', obviously theyre not, but its interesting to watch them training. :D

If you have seen it what do you guys think of the show?

Danny Ho is one of my Si-dai (younger kung fu brothers) some of the training in last nights program was second nature to him because it’s the way he and some of the younger senior students train when they get together for their Sunday training sessions.

yea they mentioned he'd done similar training, I was actually hoping to get someone who knew those in the contest.....

Can you tell me... where r u guys based? I missed that part.

Danny is as student of Choi Lee Fut and trains under Sifu Edmund Ng in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He has also trained to be a stuntman.

Alec, is Danny the kid on the "Chinese Masters of Kung Fu" video that came out a few years ago? If so he's REALLY grown up. I thought the show was mildly entertaining, and I'll watch it again for something to do. Do you really think you should go on an MA gameshow if you're going to cry about being beaten up by a girl?

Ben, from what I remember, I think Danny is one of the students on the Masters of Kung Fu tape.

Sorry but from what I've seen so far its pathetic, there is little of value on this program.

To be fair Souljah, he never got to terms with her punching and was thrown half a dozen times. Most of his kicks were way off target (although that jump spinning kick he landed was sweet) and he didn't start going in with those sloppy hook kicks to the back of the head (always after she'd landed 3+ shots anyway) until late in the second round. He wasn't disqualified, those kicks just weren't counted (if it wasn't for the drastic size difference they wouldn't have done anything anyway, they really were bad). He lost because he was a (significantly) worse fighter than her. Even if those kicks had been counted she'd probably outpointed him with the shear volume of blows she landed.
I think the boxing gloves were a bad move.

if anyone has watched it check the guy 'Don' , for one hes the brother of that girl from 'Hearsay' which was mentioned before.....

But, has anyone seen any programs by DERREN BROWN?
Hes Like a mind trick specialist and he has a program that comes on channel 4 and E4 sometimes.....well in particular did anyone see the one where he went to a London MA club with a 1-inch punch specialist, and they were demonstrationg stuff.....
well did u notice that guy DON from fight school in the background? Its just like this guy was supposed to be on tv or something.....lol
