Hey guys, I had to stop WT for a while, since the travelling costs were getting to high :(
So I decided to keep practicing what I knew at home, and do some extra fitness, and no kidding, I really got an awfull lot fitter, and my muscles developped A LOT !

-100 sit-ups a day, a book on my chest, and nothing to hold my feet down (this is important)
-50 euhm .. pumps ? (can't find the correct english word, it's the thing you see in the army movies 'Drop and gimme fifty!!')
-About 30 minutes of relaxed jogging

No kidding, at the beginning this was all pretty hard for me to maintain, now, it's a piece of cake, and my upper torso and shoulders have developped quite a bit (after 3 months).

Btw when you do those 'pumps' try placing your hands in diffeent positions, when I personally placed my hands toghetter, right bellow my plexus, I noticed this was great to work out my shoulder muscles. When I put them more separate from eachother, my 'tits' and back shoulders were trained more.

Doing chain punches, heck I can do them for an eternity before I get tired now ;)

This was just my cheap way of fitness :) (costed me exactly : One bottle of water every training  :D )

Link doesnt work Tkd.

Try a thing we call "tiger pushups"

get your feet the corner of a wall and the ground (post, brick, whatever). With your knees of the floor put your hands on the floor, and put the top or your head between them. Raise your legs and straighten them (feet still in the same spot on the ground) and then push yourself straight up with hands directly underneath. The lower legs, then repeat.

Do this for two minutes straight. Check it out, its cool.

i just found out there's no description about hindu pushups..
templefist the tiger pushups r devised version of hindupushups..

1) Start with your hands on the floor, shoulder width apart

2) feet on the floor, legs spread wider than shoulder width apart

3) Start the position with your butt in the air. head looking back to your heels(ur head is almost b/w ur both hands)

4) Bend you elbows and lower your body in a circular arc, until your arms are straight. Your chest is up and your hips are almost touching the ground.

5) look to the ceiling. exhale

6) push back toward your heels once again. Straightening your arms and stretching your legs as in number 3.

7. Repeat. Starting with step 1

the 5th postion will look like 2nd picture in this site

You could also try one of "Scrapper's workouts", which you can find here. (http://www.trainforstrength.com/)

A similar exercise to the "Hindu Push-ups" is the
'Dive-bombers', (http://www.trainforstrength.com/ex-1.shtml) which I prefer over the Hindu Pushups.

You may want to add "Hindu Squats" or "Deck Squats" to your routine....

try pointing you hands inwards so both index fingers are touching and are lied horizontally, now move your legs to shoulder width, after a while try lifting one leg off the ground as you "pump", then the other, if you do about 25 or so like this its quite tiring..... trust me:D :D

Just something you may want to consider adding to your routine

No problem on the link! Glad I could help.

Yeah, the Hindu's/bootstrappers are wicked... :D You're working on different muscles than regular push-ups though.

Another exercise you may want to add is the "ab wheel". Of course you require the wheel, which you can find for about $10. Doing a standing or kneeling ab wheel workout works not just your abs but most of your body. Really great exercise if you ask me.
