I think they should ash can both Akido AND Kempo and study Shaolin Kung fu. It hass all the striking of Kempo AND all the joint locks/manipulations of Akido :D ;)

:D i've been playing with an aikido buddy of mine recently... wing chun with his aikido, it's pretty fun to see how i can handle his skill (and vice versa) :)
