IE no longer always becomes the active window when it refreshes. ****ing finally! It had been driving me nuts for over a year (I think).

Mad props to Jamesbond_007 and ewallace who suggested removing things that might be spyware or other crap put on by other programs that was causing IE to pop to the front every time there was a change. I'd been using Adaware for a while but while it did remove Spyware, I still had the IE problem.

The following is a list of programs I removed using the Add/Remove function in Control Panel. It was most likely one of them:

CommonName Toolbar 3.1
First Look Portal
n-CASE
New.net Domains 4.50

Probably the first one or the last one, but the important thing is that I fixed my problem and now all I have to worry about is computer freezes... or maybe removing those programs will fix that too (knock on wood)!

Just thought this might be helpful to someone having the same problem.

1. try to always find cracks(sorry ewallace n other programmer like myself :D :p ) and remove those ad's version from shareware softwares...
2. get regcleaner from the web(www.jv16.org) and see ur registry wat components u hav :)
3. better get windows pro 2000 i don't hav much goodies with xp, me or 98 but xp latest is good thing in market...
