Do any of you straighten your legs when rising, floating?

Also if you were punching from the rear hand would you sink or float or both?

What is considered more powerful floating or sinking?

Do any of you straighten out your rear leg while punching?

would you breath in as you punch out or breath out as you punch out?

can you breath in as you punch out, can it cause internal damage?

"FT "Do any of you straighten your legs when rising, floating?"

Yes, when rising.

FT "Also if you were punching from the rear hand would you sink or float or both?"

Both in Pak Mei, but neither in Lung Ying. If that makes any sense.

FT "What is considered more powerful floating or sinking?"

I would say sinking, but I don't think I'm high enough up the Pak Mei ladder to know as yet. With other arts I have trained definitely sinking is more powerful.

FT "Do any of you straighten out your rear leg while punching?"

No.

FT "would you breath in as you punch out or breath out as you punch out?"

Out. I just tried the other way and its almost impossible as it seems totally unnatural.

FT "can you breath in as you punch out, can it cause internal damage?"

As above
