Last night I had a dream that I was having a fight with three guys. I had to take the biggest one out quickly before the other two got me. Since I trained Muay Thai fairly intensely for a couple of years I always use Muay Thai in my dreams but last night I fought with Wing Chun! I wonder if this reflects a change in my mental mindset towards fighting?

I am just spun out about how cool that is. I actually finished the last guy off with a hybrid Wing Chun hook kick/Muay Thai roundkick. I guess in my mind I'm fairly well crosstrained!

I often have fighting dreams, some of them using my Ngor Chor, others using something else. Strangely I have knife fight dreams as well, but have never trained in knife fighting.

Just wait till you have a dream where you die - that will freak you out :D

I had a dream like that once..

Was shot in the head... I couldn't work out why I could still see... as I knew I was dead.

Those are some very strange dreams...

But then again, I've had dreams where I have run around for days with my head half chopped off... maybe it's me. :o|

Ha! I had a dream once that was like an old Shaw Bros movie. I went before some emperor, or Duke, or something, and he told me to defeat these four generals. I used the drunken bench style, and defeated them all, they had various weapons, sword, spear, staff. It was weird because I don't know any bench forms, and not much drunken. *lol* watching too many movies, I guess

My fighting dreams are never any good. I try to punch and I can't move quickly enough. It's not in slow-motion or anything... just not fast enough to do any damage. I can only run slowly as well. It's really annoying.

I've never died in a dream but I've had some wierd-ass fighting dreams. Varying from me kicking ass to me getting my ass kicked. Must reflect my current confidence in my ability...?

I once had a dream where this murderer got me and cut out a few of my organs and ate them in front of me, then slit my throat. I could hear my blood streaming out and could feel the life draining out of me. I woke up just as the scene went black. Very freaky.

I think my strangest dream was that I was living in this town - and I had decided (pre dream) that I had to move on, and therefore everyone who knew me had to die.

So I walked around with a short blade killing people who trusted me with letting me into their houses, and obviously had known me for years.

Mothers in front of children, and vice versa, and things like that.

All with a complete sense of apathy and a feeling that somehow I had done this before.

Had to try and put my brain back toghether after that one.

i don't often have dreams i remember...i think thats a good thing- means i'mm sleeping well right?

one odd one i had years ago was i was running around this dark prison like place in the open...carrying a shotgun 'Doom' style. Anyway ppl wre running around blasting away and it was really really freaky hehe. i don't think i fired one shot i was just running around scared and dodging ppl. lol probably wondering what the hell i was doing there!!

anyway a frequent dream i used to have when i had a fever as a kid and teenager. i'd go to sleep and dream and the end of it i would be falling down an elevator shaft and than it would end suddenly when i fell on some sharp stakes that i saw stab me through my back and up my chest and i'd wake up and be alot better. :)

Cool dreams, its always fun to use MA in your sleep (except for when you share a bed...). I often have dreams of sparring or grappling with my instructor. Does anybody else dream of destroying the world? Or of becoming God? Maybe it's just my swollen head.

p.s. Souljah, just so ya know- everybody dreams, just ask any pychologist, your just not remembering yours. Here's to quick ways for you to remember your dreams.

-Get enough sleep

-Give yourself time to wake up in the morning, take your day slowly and think slowly for the first 10 min. When your more active, so is your concisenence mind. Which will make it more difficult to search your uncounisence mind for dreams.

-Patienly try to recall details of your dreams. Often times, just remembering one simple thing cause you to remember the whole thing.

-or set your alarm clock 30-60 min early, or more, so you wake up in the middle of a dream. And then, before you go back to sleep, jot down quick remender notes.

Well this is what works for me, and I usually remember 1-2 dreams every night.
