Seeing as how you usually carry such things around before you even have symptoms, they've already been around the cold.

In fact, everyone's around the cold every day.

You are just a reminder that one should strive to keep a healthy lifestyle. As long as it's not flu, I don't see the problem.

By the way, I feel just great!

I'd send the student home.

One such student could infect scores of people this way.

Um, you are in contact with cold viruses every day of your life, period. No matter how many or few people you run into with colds.

Flus are different, colds are colds.

So, are you saying that I don't have more of a chanch of catching another students cold if I pair up with them, spar, go through joint locks and take downs while they are breathing in my face?

I believe it's just plain Rude.

I prefer to stay home when I feel sick. Not because I worry about getting the others sick - I already gave them the cold, without a doubt, before there were any symptoms to even notice. Rather, I stay home because I prefer to have my colds last no longer than 48 hours, and going about a hectic and strenuous schedule with cold symptoms is a surefire way to assure that one will stay sick for days, weeks, or more.

There so much contact and when you're training, you can be quite vulnerable to disease. I just don't want to get sweaty with someone who is sick. That's one reason why I avoid China tour groups now, someone's always sick and your in such close quarters.

Be considerate. Do some light stretching at home and come back after you're healthy.
