Man can you believe this, i've seen some of the upper body take downs of mongolian wrestling and some subs it has, now its going to be in pride. This is going to probably start a new era in chinese martial arts with mongolian wrestling in mma. It will be interesting to see a diversity in martial arts in stead of just bjj, muay thai and wrestling all the time in MMA and see how they do.

thats where shuai chiao and judo came from.

I've heard that its all strength compared to "fast" suai chiao. But I think this is like karate guys saying karate is better than kung fu.

Thats the source, I hope that guy does well.

Uh, you're thinking of turkish wrestling, Castlevania.

I couldn't help but notice in that article that he's Asashoryu's older brother, and Asashoryu says that he's much stronger than himself. I hope he does well.

Can he do that leg raising hop with a slap as he walks into the ring?

I can't wait to see him try his stuff. I've got some theories already.

This is better than Spiderman VS the Hulk.

As already noted, his younger brother is a sumo superstar. He may be pretty hefty, but also note that he benches upwards of 600, so he's not going to be a pushover.
