I wonder if anyone has ever tried hooking up these helmet cameras for sparring training. Hook one up on both combatants. They are mostly used for biking and snowboarding and stuff, but would a first person perspective help?

I presume you'd be taking the camera off and putting it on a head padding, a la Olympic boxing.

The resulting video tape could be valuable, but
A) it doesn't show the size of whatever that wire is connected to, whihc would presumably have to be strapped to you somewhere, and
B) the camera stands a significant chance of being broken by a stray punch, and it probably ain't cheap.

I think it would be hard to break one of these cameras considering that downhill racers crash with them on a 60 km/hr plus. I was thinking mounting the camera on sone type of heargear, and also wearing some glove, and kicks of some king. I am probably more worries about cutting my foot or hand than breaking a camera.
