Who was the older sifu demonstrating SLT at the beginning of the video?

That is Tsui Seung Tin, student of Yip Man. Nice guy and known for his "lim lek" and circle theory approach to wing chun.

I hope that there is a disc or video out soon on the Ip Man Tong opening and celebrations. KJ or anyone- do you know whether

I don't know. Seems like a revenue opportunity for the Ip Man Tong, and one I hope they haven't overlooked.

On another list, someone mentioned that their sifu took some private footage, giving me the impression that some taping was allowed. So perhaps there's a chance that bits of private footage may be shared over time, even if not something more comprehensive or directly from the central group. At least we can hope.

They wre filming at the Ip Man Tong so i guess there will be some sort of commemorative VCD etc

The CD or film or video should do very well.
Any one know-how the Tong will be managed.?
The PRC will probably push it for tourism. But will there be classes there ...any other details?
