my roommate just got the Bagua video of the phoenix system of the yin fu system presented by Dr. Peiqi, volume 1 of something like 12 volumes for each of the 8 systems.
I wasnt to impressed with the physical and mechanical structure to the solo techniques shown.
I was however impressed with some of the techniques and commentatry by Dr. peiqi on the system and its many facets for martial and healing aspects. There was a huge similarity in some of the phoenix techniques presented and what Park Bok Nam teaches as what is called "sliding the shutters to view the moon" and "piercing palms".
i respect the efforts of preserving a system on video, but i can see a huge potential of video copy-catters being totally off without the guidance of the systems heirs.
