I am looking for historical information regarding Chow Hong Hing (may also be spelled Chow Hon Hin). He was an excellent Hung Gar master in Hong Kong in the 1950's or 60's I believe. A lion Dance association bearing his name still exists today, but I am more interested in information about him and his lineage of Kung Fu.

I understand that he died when he was about 60. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I am currently learning the Hung Gar that has been passed down by Chow Hon Hing.
I'm curious as to what you study and what led you to want to find out who Chow Hon Hing was.

Is a 9 and a half year resurrection of a thread a record?

Chow Hong Hing was alot younger than 60 when he passed. He was more in his late 30's and early 40's.

There is the following:

Tam Ga Salm Jin

Hung Ga Salm Jin

Salm Jin

Chow Hon Hing did just Salm Jin.

Here is what's currently going on with is name: you can try to contact this guy for info on his si-gung.
