Yeah, these are so good. I just got one for a midnight snack. I put fire sauce on it. Have you guys ever tried them? They're only $1.41 after tax.

I should really go work on my project.

I never cared for taco hell either, but we had a taco bell and a subway on campus. After training, I would down 2 chicken soft tacos and and a 6 inch turkey sub. When i was there, the soft tacos were .99, so you couldn't beat the price.

Americans do eat too much junk food. I have been eating healthy lately. Fish and rice and salad, nuts, olive oil

then I ate a big mac and could feel the difference the next day. I really can't beleive I could ever stand that junk.

You guys ever notice that all of taco bell's products are made of the same ingredients, just prepared differently?

agreed. And our portion sizes at the fast food places are much bigger than they are in some other places, Canada for one.

(Taco Bell)

Do you like to slather your Taco Bell meals with hot sauce, but find the chain’s standard packets insufficiently hot? Great news: super-hot sauce, which they’re calling “Diablo,” will be available from Taco Bell beginning on May 5. The not-so-great news for hot sauce fans is that the new sauce is only temporary.

This isn’t the first novel hot sauce product that we’ve heard about in recent months: Taco Bell has also reportedly been testing tortilla chips on a hot sauce theme in some markets. Those chips in “Diablo” flavor would probably be tongue-scorchingly delicious, but it seems unlikely that Taco Bell would produce any.

We don’t know how limited the availability of Diablo sauce will be, so you should probably grab handfuls of it and write a letter to the company if you don’t like it. Slathering some on a breakfast biscuit taco would certainly wake you up in the morning.
How hot could this be? Taco Bell hot sauce is weak.

I'm officially hijacking this thread for all things Taco Bell. I copied a few stray Taco Bell posts above in honor of the newspiece below.

How do you say "Nacho BellGrande" in Mandarin?

Taco Bell's first restaurant in Shanghai opens

Yum China Holdings, Inc., backed by private equity firm Primavera Capital Group and Ant Financial Services Group, has opened China's first Taco Bell restaurant in China today, as the fast-food franchise operator pushes for faster growth in the world's most populous country.

The restaurant, located in the Lujiazui financial district in Shanghai's Pudong district, is the result of a partnership between Yum China and Mexican cuisine chain Taco Bell Corp. Yum! Brands previously closed all four Taco Bell outlets it had in China in 2008 after unsatisfactory performance.

"We are excited to bring Taco Beel to China and open its first restaurant in a golden location in Shanghai," said Micky Pant, chief executive officer of Yum China, in a statement. "Chinese consumers wants to have the best experience available globally, while Taco Bell is an exciting brand anywhere in the world."

Yum China completed its separation from parent Yum Brands and began a U.S. trading debut as an independent company two months ago, following a US$460 million capital injection from Primavera and Alibaba's financial affiliate Ant Financial in September.

Now as a licensee of Yum! Brands in mainland China with exclusive rights to KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell, Yum China said it plans to triple its restaurant count to 20,000 in the next three years from 7,300 currently.

Taco Bell currently operates 7,000 restaurants globally, with 300 located outside of the U.S. in 26 countries. The company plans to increase its network to 10,000 in 2022, with China an important market to lead its expansion.

The companies said the Shanghai Taco Bell's menu is localized to add Chinese flavors and provides free wifi, electronic food ordering and mobile payment options.

It's difficult for me to imagine having Mexican food in China. When I was in Taiwan, AFAIK there was NO Mexican food anywhere. It didn't seem like the kind of cuisine that would take hold in east Asia.
