Souljah, I think it pretty much depends on the school. I have seen KF schools where there are two sash colors, black and red, no sashes, and the whole gamut of karate type colors.

Believe me, I would have smoked out like crazy before the test, so I wouldn't have peetered out during my animal forms!

Yeah, it's largely ceremonial, but considering the work I had to put out to get it, it feels good to achieve new rank in my school. Plus our ranking system symbolizes ranks in two "disciplines" kung fu and American Kenpo.

Sifu T actually gives out letter grades on the test. I meeked out a B this time, instead of my usual A+. He must have graded on a curve..... :D
