Does anyone know where I could find some historic (Early 19th century and before) photographs of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu systems?

Sorry for the sarcasim, it would be cool if we could peek back a few hundred years and look at how they did things around the temple and such.

OK, so they're not actually Da Mo, just his legacy, but I'm sure that video of Da Mo would just show him sitting there. I guess that's what the impression on the rock is, medieval video, or at least image capture ;)

Seriously, the problem back then was not that the camera was not invented, but the lack of photographers, not to mention that cameras were probably used mostly by Westerners... Do you seriously think that most kungfu masters back then would have agreed to reveal their techniques to a Westerner, and on a photograph?

It's possible that it happened, but those photos must be pretty rare...
