In ykm we have 6 harmonies or LUK HUP KUEN, 3 internal and 3 external working as one unit with every strike. So basically, your whole body, mind, spirit as one.:)

In a basic round about answer!!

Hope this helps

LOL.
I first thought you were talking of cantonese as a language, and it΄s tonal downhills.
Which there were 6 of,or even 9,well then it would have to be called 6 disharmonies. :p

There is a style in the northern Shaolin system called Lui Ho Chuan or Six Combination (or Harmony) Fist which consist of 10 sets. This style full name is Wei T'o Lui Ho Chuan and was taught in the early 1930's by Wan Li Sheng who was one of the Five Tigers from the North who went South.

The hand sets names are:

1. Lui Ho Chuan
2. Green Dragon Fist
3. Black Tiger Fist
4. Mother and Son Fist
5. Six Families
6. Four Rows
7. Plum Blossom
8. Covering Hands
9. Masticating Hands
10. Kicking Techniques

The three externals are 1. Eyes, 2. Hands and 3. Feet while the three internals are 1. Mind, 2. Chi and 3. force

This style has a long history with many masters.
