the past few morning whens working out, i've had a really bad accumulation of snot in just the right side and have to snot rocket between sets. what comes out is pretty friggin gross. it's somewhat like honey, same color, thicker consistency.
i did some research and so far it sounds like clear is allergies and yellow to green snot is sinusitis, but i haven't found anything on transparent golden snot.
the only thing i can think of is that it's garbage left over from when i used to smoke (tar stains are tannish-goldish color) that's finally getting purged.
any ideas?

I just got over the most god awful case of a sinus infection
and it ran every conceivable shade of yellow/green including
what you described.

But, if you don't have the other symptom's of a sinus infection
it may not. See how you feel in a day or two and if it doesn't
go away or you start to feel like you have a cold or the flu
see a doctor, if you do doctor's that is.

the last 3 weeks sucked for me because I didn't really want
to take anti-biotics but it got bad...bloody sinus drainage
that got into my lungs and started some funky crap there.

10 days of amoxicillen and I finally got to run and lift today
for the first time in a month.

I live in the worst area in the Nation for this, middle Tennessee! And unfortunately, going thru my annual bout with a friggen sinus infect. You really need to get some anti`s in your system. I swear, I never sneezed until I moved to Tennessee!

Oso,

Will be in contact about a trip to NC early spring. Let`s put something together! :)

excellent news about the trip. Things are on the upswing for
me personally which will refect in more time, and money, for
training.

I'm still planning to get up with sung ga faat on a regular basis
but will be Feb/Mar before that happens.

just drop me a line, did you get my email with the address
change?

if not, new email is mmelton67@hotmail.com

indicates heat in the lungs maybe you're forcing your lung capacity to heavily exert itself. If its clear its more likely to be due to wind and cold elemntal factors , but when it is thinker and more colourful its due to internal heat. The closer to green it gets the worse the condition. This is of course all from a TCM perspective.

You might want to try, this: Try a water pick set at low force, using warm water (as hot as you can stand it) with a saline solution using sea salt. Put it up one nostril and let it drain out the other, It takes awhile before you can do it without drowning! TCM uses this as well as Yoga adepts. In yoga it is called neti. They do some other weird things, such as swallowing a muslin cloth and drawing it out again to cleanse the esophagus, good training to prevent the gag reaction if you are going to jail.
