Is Wai Hong the only man alive who can certify one as an instructor in "Fu Jow Pai" Kung Fu? There are NO other master's of that style? Not even back in China? Or are we just talking specifically about someone claiming to be from "Wai Hong's Fu Jow Pai"?. No disrespect intended as Master Hong (unlike some of the more famous "Sifus" in Chinatown) has produced some pretty good fighters. But I find it unlikely that he is the only one alive who can certify someone as a Sifu in "Fu Jow Pai", unless one is specifically referring to his own hand.

Sifu Paul Eng also teaches Fu Jow Pai. As for certification, that's Wai Hong's thing because Eng is busy with Tai Mantis.

I don't think that he "owns" the system and there are practitioners in China who teach it. In fact, Real Kung Fu and Secrets of Kung Fu magazines printed several articles in the 70s about a famous Hak Fu Pai Sifu in China. But, in the U.S. Wai Hong is the man.
