1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have dinner out. (try for more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold)

3. Add 5. (for Sunday)

4. Multiply it by 50 - I'll wait while you get the calculator................

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1752.... If you haven't, add 1751..........

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number ....

The first digit of this was your original number
(I.e., how many times you want to have eat out each week.)

The next two numbers are ..........
YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it IS!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2002) IT WILL EVER WORK,
SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS. IMPRESSIVE, ISN'T IT?

X = number you chose YA = your age

As you perform the steps, you see the following:

(*2)
2X

(+5)
2X + 5

(*50)

100X +250

( + 1752 - year you were born) = (1752 - (2002 - YA)) = (YA - 250)

100X + 250 -250 + YA =

100X + Your age

Of course this is a three digit number with the first digit of X (the number you chose) followed by your age (assuming an age between 1 and 99)

X must be between 1 and 9 inclusive for 100X to produce the correct first digit.

This will work during any year, as long as the present year - the year you are adding (1752 in this case) = 250. The 1751 is in case you haven't had your birthday yet.

I got it first - may I have a cookie please?

You a member of the Naperville posse?
Please tell me there is not an actual gang now that is called the Naperville posse. They would really bring down the quality of gang-bangers in the chicagoland area. :)

Negative. I live in SA. I'm trying to plan a trip up there around this time next year. I haven't been back since '97.

Well, MonkeySlap II shaui-chiao seminars are a good place for KFO people to meet. Or we could just sit around discussing Math problems and our childhoods
