i think "the cell" quite possilby freaked me out more than any other movie ever. i got home and wanted to hug my mommy and sleep with a teddy bear.

mabye i'm just too much of a p*ssy but that was the best movie i never want to watch again

Not to be judgemental (OK, OK - to be judgemental) but The Cell was the most boring, ridiculous, stupid piece of garbage it has ever been my displeasure to view. Not even a bunch of rip-offs, oh excuse me 'homages' of great madern art could liven up that unleavened cr@pcake. It was like the director wanted the audience to find child abuse and serial murder goofy, slick, and pretentious instead of traumatic, ugly and horrifying.

I give it a 'thumbs up your butt' for both motive and execution. The only other movie I can think of that's as purely evil and excruciating is Forrest Gump.
