Transformers knows BJJ!!!

I was watching Transformers the other day on tv, flipping it there for a few minutes while I got ready for work and I could of sworn I saw one guy doing an arm bar on another guy during a fight. Not quite sure `cause I wasn't paying too much attention and by the time I realized what I saw it was over.

I think it was the episode where the good guys loose the laser sword thingy that Hotshot got and thought he was invincible with it.

Just analytical but were not there tons of armbars (like in arts of judo and jujutsu to name a few where BJJ came from) before BJJ?

Don't be ridiculous. Everyone knows Helio Gracie invented jointlocks, chokes, and the sing and double leg takedowns. Before him, all martial artists could do was throw reverse punches and roundhouse kicks.
