Rubthebuddha, your avatar seems to have a sexual connotation to it. I think it may even be considered borderline obscene/pornographic. I post on here from the computers at my public library, and I fear that I will get in trouble because of this avatar of yours appearing on the screens there. Could you please change it? I am sorry if this offends you or anyone else here, but I just feel that this is a potential problem that I should attempt to reconcile before it can cause me trouble. indeed. is a play on the term "safe sex." if it bugs ya, no worries. i was going to change it to something else less vulgar but more annoying anyway -- kinda like the old legoman. i'll dig one up probably tonight.

also, the obscene/pornographic quality has no influence on this issue. the two are terms of a subjective nature, and only apply when viewed from a whole society's perspective on prurient material. sorry, but you brought up obscenity with a person who's biggest academic love in college was press law. that's just asking for it.
