I dont agree , I reckon anyone can enjoy the show.
Its more wushu than strict shaolin, but as gene will mention if he sees this, there arent any traditional 'shaolin' schools any more.

The narration is a bit cheesy, but apart from that Its worth seeing.

If you're not that sure, rent the video for $5 instead of watching the live performance for $100.

I saw the show 2 times when it was here last month.

Good stuff, not the same show both times.

I've got tickets for next week.

I posted the same question on the Media board and got similiar
answers. But, I think it will be worth it...most of my students are
going and plan on having a blast.

I'll let you know what I thought.

I didn't think it was that great, Some none MA people I took were not too impressed either.

Maybe we caught a new troop or an early show here in SD.

I enjoyed the shows....
The performance I saw was not as good as the DVD but still entertaining. I have to say, there were some really cool aspects to the show.

revise that to

modern shaolin=wushu with costumes

though the variants are still saught in true form.

Theres one part in the middle of the show where one guy does a nice longfist form.....
