anybody see this profile of shi de yangs school at shaolin.

it's a pretty good show on the modern temple and the surrounding Guans.

shi de yang has some good kungfu too!

I liked the side story of the older guy and the kid who join at the same time. the older guy leaves after 3 months with de yang (read: Can't hack it) and the kid hangs in there.

de yang allows the bai see of his disciple to be shown and his disciple is by all appearances a very apt pupil and general all round good guy.

I was most impressed with de yang's approch to his own fame and his attitude really showed the shaolin spirit.

anyone got comments on this tv tidbit of shaolin goodness?

Not sure if it was the same show that we saw on Discovery some time ago over here.
It was part of a 3-part MA(Muay Thai, Shaolin & Japanese Samurai) series, but it sounds like it.

Personally I liked the program and thought it was well done.

yeah i saw that show a long time ago here in the UK... i thought it was well done :) he sure has a lot of students! and the wushu the kids were doing looked good too!
