Burst Jesse James Leija's eardrum in the sixth. Surprised no one has mentioned this yet.

Shame, cos it was looking like a good fight; Leija was battering Kostya in the first two or three, then Kostya got his groove going. Shame it ended that way.

Anybody else see it?

What about the undercard? Three fights in a row with first round knockouts! Madness! How about that punch from Abdulaev! (Sp?)

I think Kostya - pound for pound - is one of the greats. I haven't watched Roy Jones Jr fight but I have been told he is fantastic, but of all the fights I have seen lately Kostya ranks up there as probably the best.

Didn't watch any of the undercard fights.

If Kostya is not the best pount-for-pound boxer in the world - who is?

He would have demolished Leija in the latter rounds. Too much strength, skill and stamina. Props to Leija though - a true gentlemen boxer. Old school!

Like I said, some say that Roy Jones Jr is the best (pound-for-pound). Who knows?
