Looks liek anMMA style he mixed the strong points of TKD, Karate and others to form his own system. With the Judo, he probably has a well rounded system. I don't know how that club traines, but with the addition of some sort of ground system the potential for MMA competion is at least there.

Jujutsu and judo is there already,translates to groundfighting to me.
The claims mentioned (if you read everything) are a bit concerning.
