Since I'm starting out it'd be usefull to have them on my computer and print them out or something, cause I might forget something once in a while when practicing at home you know. Right now I'm doing the 'short' form apparently (my trainer told me there was only one loooong form actually (20 minutes long) but he teaches a short form first to make things a little easier on the newbie :)) and doing it in a non-fluid manner, I was wondering if anyone had some pics of this form or any others that may come (including weapon forms)

Thanks !

It goes like this :

First you move your hands up and down, then your arms, then you tuck in your ellbows, then put your weight on the right leg ...

I think you are looking for this:

"Practical TCC - The short form" by Dan Docherty

A short book with lots of pictures of the form. Ask your instructor (Wim?) or see if you can find it on: http://www.taichichuan.co.uk/.

Yes, there is the CD ROM also... I have it, I think it's quite good. It shows the short form round and square and also applications of the techniques in the shortform. There is a demonstration with Dan and two others from a early brittish open (i think), and if you search the CD you can find a clip where Dan does part of the swordform (it's not linked from the menusystem).

Beware of the strange sounds and sound effects though! :-) boink! baff! meeeoow (groin kick)! LOL!

Best enjoyed without sound.... :-)

Nope... I hve not seen anything free that I would recommend. But I don't think you really need a book anyway. If you practice what you learn of the form at your own so you remember it to the next class you can probably finish the form fairly quickly. The technique list can be a good help to get things in the right order.

Also you should be aware that all the techniques in the short form are also part of the longform, so it will be much easier to learn it once you know the shortform.
