If so, could you please tell me what they said about it? Thank you for any insight that you could give me regarding this.

I actually saw it, but there was nothing Kung-Fu related...all just coverage of the Oscars...unless you mean the ET on at late night, in which case, I wouldn't know.

Of course, I might have not been paying attention, but who knows... :D

I don't know about ET, but ABC World News did a report on the business of kung fu teaching in China, sparked by tv and movies such as "Kung Fu" and "Crouching Tiger..." They showed some footage of shaolin monks training in the temple and the surrounding village. As I recall, no mentioning of the difference between new wushu and the "real thing". Many students train for the dream of becoming the next Jet Li.
