hey guys, ive just read an intersting article about a new
form of jiu jitsu that could make some waves in the ma
world soon.
there is a ma teacher in Colombia called Hector Revez,he
has studied all types of jiu jitsu and over the last 30 years
has been refining his own form of jiu jitsu.it's called colombian
jiu jitsu, and apparently [from what i read] its the "business".
it relies on "thigh force" and "elbow leverage",and because
of this,if you meet someone who is bigger/stronger it simply
does not matter.proof of this comes in the shape [size] of
hector revez himself.due to a childhood of what i guess was
poor nutritional standards, hector revez stands a little over
5',and weighs in at about 115 pounds, yet he takes on all
challenges and wins soley with colombian jiu jitsu.
and unlike some popular forms of jiu jitsu, this new form firmly
addresses stand up/strikes.the article said that cjj players
are giving other ma guys trouble because of the way it works.
watch out for colombian guys in nhb/mma tournaments soon,eh!
