In some text i read it said something like :

"Tai Chi was one of the last closed door arts, and hence the dame internal
But internal could also mean that it uses your inner energy
But ..."

Something like that, I would like to go with that first though, cause I dislike/dont trust anything mystikal added to an art.

Internal energy/strength isn't mystical. It can be made into something mystical if the person has no idea how to use it or cultivate it and doesn't know what he is talking about.
I would go with the second definition.
