Chang San-Feng was born at midnight on April 9, 1247 and the anniversary of this day is now celebrated by the followers of Tai Chi Chuan with food, drink and Tai Chi.



Thats off of one site...
We have a pot luck with several other schools in the area every year. We've been doing it for years, there are a bunch of schools that note the 9th his birthday (it is just the year that gets disputed...lol):D

Some think that Tai Chi is about birthdays. They are wrong. Tai Chi is about flipping out and killing people.

I regard him as slightly more important than Chang Sang Feng, as he had a direct influence on my style.
