I am a total beginner, but I have found a site that teaches you the basics of Aikido and I am really interested in learning more about it.

If any body can help me by supplying some links to some sites with Aikido Kokikai techniques and tips. I will be more appreciated, thanks.

TTYL, PEACE!!!

First, the obvious question, what about finding a school?

That said, there probably aren't any in your area or you would have found one by now.

I don't know of any links, but amazon.com has books, videos and dvds.

Be very careful when training yourself.

perhaps Aikido? (http://www.scri.fsu.edu/~murray/aikido/mpegs.html)

Do a search in an address box of, akido mpegs. Perhaps.

No, there isn't a school near where I live.

Jodo,

I think it would be difficult to practice or learn Aikido through websites/books, let alone doing it solo.

Kokikai is a fairly small Aikido group, so I think you may have a hard time finding anything. Try visiting E-budo.com and ask in their Aikido forum or visit aikiweb.com. Another place to try is Aikidojournal.com.

Where do you live? Perhaps we can direct you to a Aikido dojo in your area?

Yah I figured that, that is why I only wanted to learn more about the art and prepare myself.

But now I don't want to learn any style of martial arts until I after I get out of College (I am still in high school LOL)

Thanks anyways, PEACE!!!
