anyone else play shadowbane?

if not i think some of you rpg guys might like it. 100% pvp though ... game is based on killing other players or sieging player built cities with wars that can exceed 100 vs. 100 players. top so far was close to the 100 vs 100 mark.

could mods give me 24 hours on this thread to see if anyone else actually plays?

Some friends of mine have been waiting YEARS for this game to launch. Now that it has and they've played it, they're less than impressed.

But someone else may have a different experience. *shrugs*

I was in the Beta Test. Shadowbane is a yawn-fest. Needless to say, I cancelled my pre-order.

in all honesty i'm having a hard time talking shuul into coming over with me even though we both played ultima online together for years. i didn't like it at first, but i really am enjoying it now that im into it more. once you learn your lay of the land leveling is a breaze and i have really enjoyed what i have seen of the mainlands. i was really just trying to see if anyone else played, but i would recommend anyone into mmrpgs give it a shot. a lot of other people have liked it .... especially a lot of the ones who moved over from uo when they finally laid pvp to rest with their newest expantion. sb just feels like uo back in 99 to me.

I've been playing EQ for a couple years now, and have been waiting for Starwars to go live they really seem to be dragging thier feet though, and am losing patience. I haven't heard much about shadowbane maybe I'll give that a shot. Are there multiple servers to choose from like EQ, or just one big one?

Just checked out the website, screenshots looks pretty good. It talks about various rate plans but doesn't go into detail, EQ has only one that I know of. Do you what a few of these rate plans might be, after doing a little reading on it, I'm growing alot more interested.

Actually I'm looking for a place to train here in Morgantown. I'll be at college there next year. See my thread a ways down the page..."Evaluate this school for me"...pretty much my whole story in there. :D
