Here are some strange diets I had heard of but work. (some are dangerous)

Thick liquid diet = you can drink what ever you like plus soups. (but only soups and liquids)

Aaron Morris diet= You basically train and run hard, but skip many meals. (Aaron Morris was a Tae Kwon do Champ that is 5'9" and weights 130)

The peasant diet = You can only bread water, and fruit juices. You can have one serving of meal every other week.

Have you heard of strange diets like these?

I've heard of the peasant diet. It's wrong, for one--peasants ate a little better than that (though they had no money, they did have brains).

Aaron Morris? Who wants to be 130 lbs at 5'9"? That's not healthy at all. I think he had a little help from herbal uppers.

Aaron Morris was a Bantam weight hogu fighter (the guys who fight with the head gear and the chest protection ) Bantam weight is 125 - 135

I remember there was this one competition karate champ (world champion I think, canīt recall the class) whoīs diet used to be made up of junk food during his great days. :)
Would not recommend that to anyone though...

You forgot macrobiotics as an example.

Former Castleva, I think you're referring to Bill "Superfoot" Wallace. He used to pretty much live on McDonald's hambugers and ice cream. I heard him say at a seminar he ate the ice cream to keep his joints loose, and the hamburgers to keep from getting hungry.

Not the healthiest diet, but he was still a kickboxing champion. I guess natural ability can overcome a lot of obstacles. ;)

**** straight. I'm 130lbs at 5'9", just a skinny Asian dude. No matter how much I eat, I won't get obese. I know a Korean friend of mine like that who could eat five meals a day and still be like a toothpick, he was also very pale though.

right now I'm on a cereal diet. paying for college sucks.

Yeah.I guess it must have been him Cheese.

Then there was this Atkins diet which was recognized as questionable by some I think.
Itīs Founder-Atkins recently died of head injury.

Ah yes, my college diet.
I lived for an entire week on peanut butter and cheap white bread.

I ate TONS of Ramen noodles. They sold for like $0.15 a pack back then.

One time, and only one time, I lived on little but bolagna and bread for several days. Four straight days of GREEN, SCREAMING $HITS!!!!

Good times............... :D

ramen sandwich: cook, strain (w/ or w/o flavor), let air a few minutes, place in bread. mustard/mayo optional.

Shaolin-Do: go to HEB, I think Ramen is still 10/$1.

inic: the oriental stores around here (Austin) have cheap meat too, but it just looks rotten.

Rice is sold for even less by volume, and it's pretty healthy.

Buddhist (monk) diet: eat one meal before noon, nothing more, and then if you have to, drink some tea or take a snack in the evening.

Keep in mind that the monks didn't have almost anything else to do than meditating (you don't need lots of energy for sitting quietly or walking slowly :D )

A lot of these diets are just dumb....
Like the Atkins is slightly disenteric....
The eat right for your blood type, while it works for some, is bogus.

Beans are cheap too, make sure you get that protein.

Ethnic grocery stores in my neighborhood have fresh veggies and meats at 50% of the price of the big supermarket chains...we feed our family well and for cheap..
