Trouble finding character for Kam (Cum)

I'm having trouble translating the character for Kam...as in Kam Jeung or "Cover Palm." On LKH's Siu Mui Fah poster it appears as the mountain radical

with this radical
(http://www.chinalanguage.com/cgi-bin/char.cgi?5196)

over the mountain radical.

I cannot find this character in any of my Chinese dictionaries. Is this short hand for a more complex character?

Do I have my terminology correct?

I am translating this poster into the romanized cantonese in case anyone was wondering.

however, what you are looking for is cantonese.

palm is "zhang" in mandarin, cover is "yan".

In cantonese, "Kam" is gold.

but in mandarin is it "Huang Jin"

pretty confusing language. I've looked and all the best language tools available for chinese use the common speech.

Cantonese is too dialectic to be sure exactly what it is you want when writing.

Hi Fu Pow,

I have seen the character you are describing many times. It is the character for "cover/covering" that my Sifu uses, and in some of the old documents I have from the 70's. I don't know if it's a simplified version of a different character, or an old version of a more modern character - sorry. I'll ask my Sifu when I visit him in a couple of weeks if you haven't got your questions answered by then.
