I once read he was one of the "few remaining ninja" or something in real life. I know he did the motion capture for Tenchu, or so I've heard. But what styles did he really study? Is he skillful? Did he actually study a legit ninja school? Could he vanish before Royce could choke him out?

And speaking of ninjas, the latest wave of pop-up ads trying to sell me a webcam describe it as featuring a "Free ninja robotic camera mount" which seems to mean a little motorized turret that can swivel about 90 degrees back and forth and about 45 degrees up and down. That'll show Royce! (in grainy, blurry stills taken about 30 seconds apart)

I remember his oldest son - I think he trained under Sho. The youngest son trained also - shane and kane.

Did he flip out and kill people? If not, he was not a ninja.

Ninjas are both mammals and totally sweet.

I think Kane Kosugi is all the rage in Japan now. Odd, since I can only remember him as a little kid in 'Revenge of the Ninja.'

According to a website devoted to him, he studied Shindo Jinen Ryu Karate ( a style very similar to ****o Ryu according to the site) with a Master Konishi. He later studied ninjitsu from a Master Yamamoto, an old man who one day mysteriously vanished never to be seen again. He went on to study various other arts like Kobudo, Judo, and Iaido. He studied ****o Ryu under Fumio Demura. I also read somewhere a few years ago that he now runs a school in the Hollywood area that teaches film/stage fighting to kids who want to break into the business. You can find more info on the website at www.geocities.com/ShoKosugiTheNinja. Hope this helps!

He also studied Hsing-I Chuan under Hsu Hong Chi. I remember going to a tournament he put on in honor of Master Hsu in the late 70's/early 80's.
