Since I'm lazy, and the DD forum format is kinda messy, can someone refresh my memory why it is recommended to separate RKC and PTP cycles?

2 different energy systems ... PTP deals with max strength and RKC, strength-endurance… or something like that...

I thought I remember hearing that it can actually be bad to do them at the same time.

I'm too lazy to look up RKC, :D what is it?

Because the Party is always right.

Duh :p

I've never done RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge), but I know PTP generally works in 2 week cycles, so it's like a complete PTP cycle for 2 weeks, an RKC cycle for two weeks. I guess RKC is about two weeks per cycle. I forgot how it works.

"Because the Party is always right." :p lol

Actually I think it's because if you add much you won't make the gains that you would otherwise. I found I could add a little though... they're to different goals ultimately.

I guess doing them at the same time slows the gains on your max ### for the PTP cycle… *shrug*…
