i am trying to get hold of some of those things that you use as punching resistance basically its like a belt that you put behind you back but hold on to with each hand and punch with it is supposed to give resistance to punching.

anybody have a clue what i am on about?!

if anybody has one what are they like are they worth a purchase.

and also where they can be purchased from.

Any PT supply company will have Thera-Band or other rubber band/tubing for resistance training. You can get fancy, with door hooks and handles, or you can just hold onto the band or tie a loop in it to hook your leg through it. Oh, right, you want it for punching, not sweeps. You can get creative with this stuff.

Have fun,

A google search of theraband uk brings up a few results. You might also try searching (or looking in the phone book) for PT supplies in the nearest city, then you could buy them in person.
